Another Way Vegan Sausage Mix, 1.75kg
A dry plant-based sausage mix. Just add cold water. The full 1.75kg bag plus 3.25 litres of water makes 5kg of hydrated mix. For a smaller batch, use 350g of mix with 750ml of water to make 1kg.
Shake the bag before use so the mix is even. Add cold water and mix well, with no dry pockets left. Leave for at least 5 minutes. It will firm up further if left for 30 minutes. Once hydrated, keep it in an airtight box in the fridge for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 6 months.
Use it for sausages, sausage rolls, pies, pasta, pizza or dumplings. For sausages, form balls of about 60–80g, roll into sausage shapes or flatten into patties, and fry in a little oil for 6–8 minutes. Turn every 2 minutes until golden on the outside and hot in the middle.

Textured soya protein, vegetable suet (non-hydrogenated vegetable fat 85%, contains RSPO-certified palm, rice flour 15%), isolated soya protein, pea flake, emulsifier: methylcellulose, thickener: carrageenan, yeast extract, sage, salt, nutmeg, parsley, black pepper, beetroot powder, thyme, onion powder.
